Enid Wood
I love color. When painting, I start with a color I have seen in nature or an unexpected and beautiful pair of colors of pastel sticks. I also love to travel. As a child, I traveled with my family from my home in Denver to New Mexico to visit grandparents. I have had the good fortune to be able to follow my husband in his scientific career around the globe. These paintings are from places that fascinate me. I have turned some of them into abstract works that are less about place and more about color and light.
